When the weather is right, after a warm rainy 50 degree night, wood frogs will leave their shelters to congregate in a vernal pool in Maromas where they raucously compete for mates. CT-DOT is planning another workshop (with presentation) on the Route 9 Traffic Signal Removal Project. We’ve been told this will take place on the Wesleyan campus, but as of this writing, we don’t know the exact location or the time. Presumably, this meeting will be posted on CT DOT’s list of public meetings here.
