Star Wars Trilogy Screening at the Kate August 3rd
Lifelong fans will have the chance to view the original trilogy; tickets to each showing are sold separately.

OLD SAYBROOK, CT - The Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center, “the Kate”, presents a screening of the Star Wars trilogy on Saturday, August 3, 2019. Lifelong fans will have the chance to view the original trilogy starting with “A New Hope” at 11:00 AM, “The Empire Strikes Back” at 1:30 PM, and ending with “Return of the Jedi” at 4:00 PM. Tickets to each showing are sold separately.
“A New Hope”: Princess Leia is held hostage by the evil Imperial Forces, under order from Darth Vader, in their efforts to quell the rebellion against the Galactic Empire. Luke Skywalker and Millennium Falcon Captain Han Solo team together with the lovable droid duo R2-D2 and C-3P0 to rescue the beautiful princess and restore freedom and justice to the galaxy
“The Empire Strikes Back”: The battle continues in this spellbinding sequel, as the fight to save the galaxy from the evil empire rages on, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia and Chewbacca face attack by the Imperial Forces and their AT-AT walkers on the ice planet Hoth. While Han and Leia escape in the Millennium Falcon, Luke travels to Dagobah in search of Yoda. Only with the Jedi master's help will Luke survive when the dark side of the Force beckons him into the ultimate duel with Darth Vader.
“Return of the Jedi”: The Millennium Falcon flashes through hyperspace and creatures from all over the galaxy defy the Galactic Empire in this stunning chapter of the Star Wars saga. After rescuing Han Solo and Princess Leia from certain doom at the hands of crime lord Jabba the Hutt, Luke rejoins Yoda. Only by completing his Jedi training can Luke become a true Jedi Knight and defeat Darth Vader. The film boasts Oscar-winning special effects and a remarkable chase on airborne speeders through a forest.
