Middletown, CT - A State Trooper was injured after a car rear-ended his police cruiser early Monday morning on Interstate 91, State Police said in a news release.

A State Trooper was parked in the left lane/left shoulder on I-91 northbound approximately two-tenths of a mile north of Exit 20 with all the cruiser's rear-facing emergency lights activated, State Police said.
