Texas Roadhouse Plans To Open Cromwell Restaurant
The restaurant is one of nine locations Texas Roadhouse plans to open this year.
CROMWELL, CT — Texas Roadhouse will open a new location in Cromwell this spring. The new restaurant is included among other locations opening soon on the Texas Roadhouse website.
Google lists that the location will open March 18 at 55 Shunpike Road in Cromwell.
The 7,900-square-foot restaurant will employ 220 people, WFSB 3-TV reported.

The restaurant company, which opened in 1993 and is based in Kentucky, has more than 580 locations in 49 states, including four others in Connecticut.
Currently, the closest location to Cromwell is in Manchester. There are also Texas Roadhouse restaurants in West Haven, Waterbury, and New London.

Texas Roadhouse is known for hand-cut steaks — steaks make up 44 percent of its menu — and its ribs, and touts its "made-from-scratch sides and fresh-baked bread."
In addition to steaks and ribs, they offer 15 varieties of margaritas as well as other alcohol.
The Cromwell restaurant will serve dinner only Monday through Thursday from 3 to 10 p.m. and Friday from 3 to 11 p.m. It will be open for lunch and dinner Saturday 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday, 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Texas Roadhouse plans to open nine other restaurants in 2024 across the country.
