Thank You Middletown For Feeding Our Local Neighbors

Volunteer Walk Co-Coordinator Bob Walsh, as in years past, did a wonderful job recruiting many local organizations to participate in supporting St. Vincent DePaul’s Soup Kitchen and Food Pantry at this years Walk To End hunger.

In 2014 Amazing Grace and the St. Vincent de Paul Soup Kitchen together provided approximately 1000 meals a day to residents in the Middletown area. The need for nutritious food in our community has increased nearly 30% since the financial crisis in 2008.

It will be a while before they will know how much was raised to feed the hungry of the greater Middletown community, but it seemed very succesfull because of the large turn out of walkers:
