Threat Puts Middletown High School On Lockdown: Police
The Middletown Police Department was on the scene Wednesday afternoon investigating.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — The problem of school threats has hit another Connecticut high school Wednesday afternoon, with Middletown High School put on lockdown.
The Middletown Police Department said at about 3:15 p.m. that officers were on the scene after "receiving a potential threat against the school," which is located at 200 La Rosa Lane.
Police said the majority of students had already been dismissed for the day, but officers "are currently searching the building to ensure the safety of staff and students in after-school programs."
