Today Was The Pumpkin Smash Event, Skating Rink Opening And More!
At Middletown's Veteran's Park
People who did not throw their pumpkins in the trash brought unpainted pumpkins to Middletown Recreation's Pumpkin Smash event on Saturday, Nov. 6th, at Veterans Park from 12:00 noon - 3:00 p.m.
Pumpkins are also great for composting and for wildlife! They are not great for landfills and incinerators, where they contribute to our trash disposal crisis and climate change.
This was also Opening Day For The Skating Rink. Also around the Park is the greater Middletown Military Museum, Ct. Trees Of Honor and more:
