Two Middletown CTLottery Players Win Combined $60,000

MIDDLETOWN, CT — Two Middletown lottery players won a combined $60,000 on scratch-off tickets claimed on consecutive days, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

A $50,000 winning ticket for the CA$HWORD 2nd Edition game was claimed Aug. 27. The ticket was purchased at Gas Man in Middletown.

The previous day, Aug. 26, a Middletown player claimed a $10,000 prize on the 10X CASH 18th Edition scratch-off game. That ticket was purchased at King of Spirits in Middletown.

The winners were not identified by the Connecticut Lottery. The lottery does not publicly release winners' names without their written consent.
