Vehicle Flips In Middletown, Causes Traffic Mess

MIDDLETOWN, CT — A major accident on Interstate 91 in Middletown on rain-slickened pavement is causing major traffic issues for commuters.

According to the state Department of Transportation, the accident — featuring a single, overturned vehicle — was on I-91 South between exits 21 and 20.

As a result, the left lane is closed.

The accident was reported at 9:52 a.m. and it is no longer listed on the DOT's incident list, indicating it is cleared.
