Film showing: Veterans of Color Thursday, February 28th From6:30pm - 8:00pm In The Hubbard Room
The Russell Library Veterans Group is pleased to present the film: Veterans of Color. African Americans served in some of the bloodiest combat missions in American history, even when their country treated them as lessor citizens. Then many Veterans of color faced even fiercer battles when they returned home to encounter housing and job discrimination, racial hatred, and other hardships. In the film, Veterans speak directly about their experiences. NR; running time 60 minutes.
