MIDDLETOWN, CT — It was a good weekend for the Westfield Fire Department.

Westfield took the People's Choice Award and second place (missing first by a single point ) at the Dream Ride Firefighter Chili Cook-Off in Farmington Saturday.

Westfield, also on Saturday, won the Best Appearing Engine Tanker category in at the Old Saybrook Fire Department’s 100th Anniversary Parade.
