Woman Beat And Strangled Mother Then Went To Sleep: Middletown PD
Officers found the daughter sleeping in a blood-soaked bedroom as if nothing had happened, police said.
MIDDLETOWN, CT — A Middletown woman was arrested after she beat, bit and strangled her mother and then went to sleep in a bloody bedroom as if nothing happened, police said.
The victim said she was assaulted a few hours prior to her calling 911 because her daughter wouldn't let her call police, police said. There was an active protective order that prohibits her daughter from seeing her.
The victim had dry blood in her hair and bite marks on her arm. She told police she was punched several times in the head, beat with a metal stool and bit several times. Her daughter Leah LePage, 22, also threatened to kill her if she called police, according to police.
