Woman Punches, Bites Man In Fight Over Debit Card: Middletown Police
The woman is accused of assaulting the victim after he confronted her for allegedly trying to use his debit card, according to police.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — A Middletown woman is accused of punching and biting a man after he confronted her for allegedly trying to use his debit card at a store in Middletown, according to police. Christina L. Clemons, 35, of Washington Street, was arrested July 24 on several charges after police say she attempted to use a debit card that didn’t belong to her.
Clemons told police that she found the debit card on the ground, according to the police report. The victim of the lost or stolen debit card was in Aresco’s Market at the time Clemons attempted to use the debit card, the report states. Clemons was then confronted by the victim and asked to stay in the store until police arrived. Police said Clemons then pushed the victim and punched him in the face.

“The accused and the victim then had a physical altercation where the accused bit him on his left arm causing injury,” police wrote in the report.
Clemons was arrested on charges of third-degree assault, second-degree breach of peace, attempt to commit sixth-degree larceny and less than $500 on revoked credit card. She was released on a $10,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 8, according to state judicial records.
