An employee was hospitalized after a "work place injury" at the FedEx Campus in Middletown on Monday night, according to police.
MIDDLETOWN, CT — An employee was hospitalized after a “work place injury” at the FedEx Campus in Middletown on Monday night, according to police.
Police responded to the campus around 8 p.m. on Oct. 19 on the report of an injured employee.
“The employee received a minor injury to his hand and it is not considered life threatening,” Lt. Heather Desmond wrote in a news release. “The employee was transported to the hospital for treatment of the injuries.

“This is being investigated as a work place injury and OSHA has been contacted. No foul play is suspected at this time.”
No further information was immediately released by police.
