Xavier High School Retains High Ranking in Wrestling Poll

MIDDLETOWN, CT — As it has each week this season, Danbury High School received first-place votes from all 16 coaches who participated in the latest weekly Connecticut high school wrestling poll.

The last time the Hatters were not a unanimous pick was the preseason poll in early December, when Newtown snared a first-place vote.

Xavier retained the number five position in the most recent balloting, while Middletown also received some support from voters.

Also receiving votes: Windham, Foran, Daniel Hand, Middletown, Platt, Shelton, Guilford, Killingly, Haddam-Killingworth, East Hartford, Westhill, Montville, East Haven.
