Xavier Moves Up in Latest Ice Hockey Poll

The Falcons received a first-place vote in the latest weekly balloting of media members and coaches.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — Ridgefield High School once again topped the weekly boys ice hockey poll, garnering 14 of 16 first-place votes.

The Tigers (13-1) were the top choice of voters for the sixth straight week.

Xavier (11-3) garnered a first-place vote and moved up a spot to second in the most recent rankings.

  4. Northwest Catholic (12-3-1)

  7. Fairfield Prep (7-5)

  9. West Haven (10-4)
  10. Suffield/Granby/Windsor Locks (10-4)

Also receiving votes: Simsbury (6-7), Farmington Valley (10-2), Fairfield Warde/Ludlowe (11-4-1), Guilford (11-2), Woodstock Academy (12-1-1).
