1 Person Seriously Injured In 3-Vehicle Crash: Milford Police

Police said they are investigating the crash, which involved three vehicles.

MILFORD, CT — One person suffered serious injuries in a three-vehicle crash on Saturday afternoon, police said.

At 12:53 p.m. Saturday, a serious motor vehicle collision was reported near Bridgeport and Cleveland avenues, police said. The collision involved a 2017 Ram 1500 and a 2009 Hyundai Elantra.

"An initial investigation revealed that the Ram 1500 was traveling west on Bridgeport Avenue and crashed into the Hyundai Elantra when it attempted to turn left onto Cleveland Avenue," police said in a news release.

"The collision caused the Ram to strike a third vehicle, a Hyundai Sonata, which was stopped on Cleveland Avenue," police said. "The operator of the Hyundai Elantra was transported to Bridgeport Hospital with serious injuries. The investigation is ongoing."
