10,000 Ducks To Invade Downtown Milford, All For A Good Cause
The popular event returns after a three-year break.

MILFORD, CT — It's back! The United Way of Milford and the Woodruff Family YMCA have joined forces to bring back he Milford Duck Race. A beloved community fundraiser for years, 2018 will be the first year to get this event going.
"We look forward to giving new life to this classic Milford event. We are committed to making it something our community will love and enjoy for years to come," according to the website for the event.
The event is held rain or sine on SATURDAY JUNE 9 11 AM - 1 PM, DUCK DROP @ NOON, MEMORIAL BRIDGE, DOWNTOWN MILFORD

There will be more than 80 prizes worth over $7,000. The Milford Mirror says 10,000 ducks will be dropped at the event, which was last held in 2015. The money raised will be split evenly between the United Way and the YMCA, the Milford Mirror reports. Food will be available at the event too.
