MILFORD, CT — Two Wallingford residents have been arrested in connection with a bomb threat at the Cinemark Movie Theater at the Connecticut Post Mall in Milford earlier this month, according to police.
Milford police responded to the mall around 1:30 p.m. on March 3 after Cinemark received a call from a person reporting to have a bomb and saying that he was outside the movie theater, according to police.
“This initiated a heavy police response and officers cleared the parking lot and movie theater before deeming the call a hoax and finding that there was no viable threat,” police wrote in a news release. “Through the continuing investigation, two suspects were identified as being responsible for making the hoax phone call.”
