2 Hospitalized After Carbon Monoxide Incident In Milford
The Fire Department received a 911 call for a potential carbon monoxide poisoning incident.

MILFORD, CT — Two people were hospitalized after a carbon monoxide incident occurred at a local office space, Milford fire officials said.
At 11:42 a.m. 911 received a call at 90 Furniture Rowe for potential carbon monoxide poisoning. Crews found high levels of carbon monoxide due to a forklift being used inside the building, officials said.
Two people were hospitalized and two declined medical attention. Firefighters ventilated the building with smoke ejectors and metered for CO. The levels were brought back down to safe levels.

OSHA was called and will conduct an investigation.
"As a reminder, everyone should have a CO detector in their home or place of work," fire officials said on their Facebook page. "CO is a colorless and odorless gas. If they feel any signs and symptoms such as but not limited to Nausea, Weakness, Fatigue, Drowsiness, Confusion, Etc. They should go outside to fresh air and call 911. Another great job by the Milford Fire Department."
