2 Men Tried To Lure Girl At Milford Mall: Police

A West Haven man and a Meriden man were charged with risk of injury to a minor, police said.

MILFORD, CT — Two men are facing accusations that they tried to lure a girl at the Connecticut Post Mall, according to police.

Police responded to the call at Boscov's on June 18 on a report of two men trying to lure a 12-year-old girl in the store.

The two men asked the victim if she wanted to make some money and watched her in the store, police said.

Raul Goycoechea, 45, of West Haven, and Luis Martel-Cruz, 26, of Meriden, were charged with risk of injury to a minor and breach of peace.

Bond was set at $5,000 each. They are scheduled to appear in court July 11.
