2 Milford Nurses Disciplined: C-HIT
One nurse had her license revoked, while another had her license placed on probation in two separate cases.
MILFORD, CT — One nurse had her license revoked while another had her license placed on probation in two separate cases, reports the Connecticut Health Investigative Team's Bonnie Phillips.
Charlene Zikaras, of Milford, had her license revoked after she continued to work as a nurse despite being told not to by state officials, C-HIT reports. Her license had been placed on probation for past alcohol abuse, C-HIT reports. She worked at Stamford Ambulatory Surgical Center.
Stacey Thompson, of Milford, had her license placed on probation for one year for "failing to perform CPR on a patient in a timely manner," C-HIT reports. She was working at St. Camillus Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Stamford at the time of the incident.
