Homemade Holiday Fair
MILFORD, CT – The holiday season is right around the corner, and First United Church of Christ in Milford invites the community to kick off the festivities at its annual Homemade Holiday Fair, Friday, November 20 (6PM-8PM), and Saturday, November 21 (10 AM-3 PM), at 34 West Main Street.
This two-day celebration will feature local vendors, homemade treats, holiday shopping, family activities, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the spirit of the season.
The festivities begin Friday evening, November 20, from 6–8 p.m., with a special Holiday Fair Pre-Sale and Pie-Making Challenge. For $10, guests can enjoy a soup supper, a piece of homemade pie, and first access to holiday fair vendors and items before Saturday's festivities. It's a wonderful opportunity to shop, eat, and enjoy an evening with friends and neighbors.
The Friday evening festivities will also include the much-anticipated Pie-Making Challenge! Bakers are invited to enter their best pies in one of four categories: fruit, custard, cream, or savory. Participants should bring two pies: one for judging and one to share. The entry fee is $25, and prizes will be awarded.
The Homemade Holiday Fair continues Saturday, November 21, from 10 a.m.–3 p.m., with free admission and fun for the whole family. Visitors can browse a variety of vendors, enjoy the homemade bake sale, and stop by the Holiday Café for great food and refreshments.
Families will find plenty to enjoy throughout the day, including:

- A Sea Glass Workshop with Flora ($40; advance registration required) Space is limited!
- A beautiful Nativity Exhibit in the church sanctuary
