2 People High on PCP and Pot Watching 2-Year-Old in Milford: Police

Milford police said a welfare check led to the man and woman's arrest this past weekend.

MILFORD, CT — Two Southington residents were supposed to be providing care for a 2-year-old child in Milford, but police said what they found as part of a welfare check led to their arrests.

Milford police said at 11:25 a.m. Saturday officers responded to the area of Old Oronque Road on a welfare check.

Investigation led to the arrest of Meighan Plourde, 27, and Ritchie Aguilar, 31, both of Beecher Street in Southington, who were allegedly found under the influence of marijuana and PCP while taking care of a 2-year-old child, police said.

They were both released on a promise to appear in Superior Court, Milford on August 23.
