This morning the cap has been placed at 24 inches of snow or two feet for Fairfield, New Haven, and New London counties. So there is the hope this won’t approach the 2013 historic blizzard numbers.
But the bad news is for residents in Hartford and Tolland counties the 20-30 inch snow projections remain. A blizzard warning remains in effect for the entire state.

The timeline
According to the National Weather Service, this morning Greenwich could see some snowflakes after 9 a.m, but for the rest of the state most of the snow isn’t expected to get going until 2 or 3 p.m., which is a litter later than predicted earlier yesterday.
If you went to work
Again the news isn’t bad for this evening’s commute. In most instances 1-3 inches of snow will accumulate by 5 p.m. and in most cases it will be less than 1 inch because the snow will be very light this afternoon.
