3 Thefts Of Purses Investigated By Milford Police

MILFORD, CT — Police said they are investigating three recent thefts of purses from the parking lots of Whole Food's and Stop & Shop, East Town Road,

"Weekend reminder to please be aware of your surroundings at all times, especially in the parking lots of stores on the Route One corridor!" police said in a social media post.

"We are investigating 3 thefts of purses from the parking lots of Whole Foods and Stop and Shop (East Town Road) from (Friday) afternoon, within minutes of each other," police said. "The last of these thefts resulted in the offender making physical contact with the victim while fleeing."

"Photos of the offending vehicle are attached—2013 Honda Accord, white, New Jersey tags (245598T), which has been reported as stolen," police said in the social media post.
