3 Women Charged In Assaults At Restaurant: Milford Police
Three women are facing accusations after bouncers and police officers were assaulted at a downtown restaurant and bar.

MILFORD, CT — Three women are facing assault accusations after incidents at Stonebridge over the weekend, according to police.
Police officers were working a private duty detail at the restaurant at 50 Daniel St. on Friday at 11 p.m.
A 19-year-old New Haven woman was seen throwing up. Stonebridge bouncers tried to remove her which is when she hit a bouncer in the face, police said.

Police attempted to put her into handcuffs, and she spat on officers and continued to struggle, according to police.
She was taken into custody and charged with breach of peace, third-degree assault, assault of a public safety officer, criminal trespassing, and interfering with an officer.

The next night, at 12:38 a.m. Sunday, police were again working a private security detail at the restaurant. Stonebridge security asked two women to leave.
Both became angry and a 28-year-old Newport, Rhode Island woman threw a drink at a bouncer and began punching him in the face, police said.
Police intervened and escorted the woman outside, where she was arrested.
While police were placing her in custody, a 23-year-old Highlands, New Jersey woman ran at officers and Stonebridge bouncers tried to stop her. She then bit a bouncer on the arm. The woman was arrested as well.
Both were charged with second-degree assault, interfering with an officer, breach of peace, and criminal trespass. Bond was set at $5,000 for both women, who are scheduled to appear in Milford Superior Court on July 23.
