New Details Released In Milford Police Investigation: UPDATE

Members of the Milford, Bridgeport and Orange police departments converged on an area near Claudia Drive in Milford on Tuesday.

MILFORD, CT — A search for suspects from a Bridgeport shooting incident Tuesday led authorities to a neighborhood in Milford following a chase on I-95, according to Bridgeport police.

Residents in and around the Claudia Drive area in Milford were told to remain in their homes during the active Milford police investigation on Tuesday. The suspects abandoned the vehicle they were riding in and fled; officers searched the area for them for more than an hour but came up empty.

No injuries were reported, and the suspects remain at-large.

Members from Milford, Bridgeport and other police departments converged on the area at about noon to investigate, which NBC Connecticut reported may have been connected to the shooting.

WTNH-TV reported that members of the Bridgeport Police Department briefly chased the vehicle but called off the pursuit.

In addition to Bridgeport police, members of the Orange Police Department also assisted with the investigation.
