Affordable Housing Developer Wants More Milford Apartments
The developer wants to add more apartments to a nearby land parcel for a project that is nearing completion.

MILFORD, CT—The developer of a 15-unit apartment complex at 14 Gulf Street wants to add seven more units at an adjacent property.
Plans will likely come before the Planning and Zoning Board in the fall, according to the Milford Mirror.
The proposed new buildings would be built at 26 Gulf Street, which was purchased by Two Ninety Six LLC in July 2016. The land parcel currently has a 2,100 square foot home on it.
The 14 Gulf Street development was filed under the state's affordable housing 8-30g statute. The statute allows developers to circumvent local zoning laws if a municipality doesn't have enough affordable housing.
