After Argument With Wife, Man Tries To Break Into Businesses: PD
The accused told Milford police he had an argument with his wife and "does stupid things when he fights with her," police say.

MILFORD, CT — A Milford man told police he "does stupid things when he fights with (his wife)” after he was arrested for breaking into a business on Christmas Eve, police said.
On Dec. 24 at 11:55 p.m. Milford Police Department responded to a burglary alarm at a Bridgeport Avenue business. The business owner was able to contact Milford Police as well, and indicated he could see a male via surveillance cameras wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans inside of the business parking lot, police said.
Officers arrived and found Isaias Mendoza-Perez, 39, of Bridgeport Avenue matching the description attempting to hide on the property, police said.

The male was placed in handcuffs while they investigated the incident, police said. Preliminary
investigation showed three other businesses in the area had either been broken into or attempted
to be, police said.
Officers then spoke with Mendoza-Perez about the incident. Mendoza-Perez told police he had an argument with his wife and “does stupid things when he fights with her,” police said.

Mendoza-Perez is charged with third-degree burglary, three counts of criminal attempt at third-degree burglary, fourth-degree larceny, second-degree criminal mischief, and three counts of third-degree criminal mischief. He was held in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
