Previously, gym members reported receiving communication from the company about the closure. A notice on the gym's website also stated that the club would be closing June 24.

The notice no longer appears on the gym's website and daily hours are listed.

LA Fitness has closed other locations recently. In February, it was announced that the Norwalk gym would be closing this year. A Newington gym also closed last year.

LA Fitness has four remaining locations in Connecticut in Farmington, Stamford, Stratford, and Trumbull, according to its website.
