MILFORD, CT — A developer has brought back a project to construct a 189-unit residential complex, according to documents filed with the city.
Metro 553 LLC is seeking to build at 553 West Ave. Previously, 342 units were approved for the site.
The project is scheduled for review at an Inland Wetlands Agency meeting Wednesday night.
Developer Metro Star already owns several properties in Milford.
The proposal calls for six buildings on 57 acres with a total of 189 apartments. It also calls for 261 parking spaces, including 27 electric vehicle charging spaces, according to documents filed with the city.
The project includes parking, grading and stormwater work within 150 feet of wetlands in the Beaver Brook Watershed.
A site plan was originally approved for the larger project in 2017. A scaled-down version of the proposal was approved in 2023.
