MAC Play To Feature Milford Director, Cast Members (theorangetimes.com) — Milford theater lovers can catch Noel Coward's comedy "Hay Fever" at the Milford Arts Council's Eastbound Theatre from Sept. 11–26, featuring a director and several cast members from Milford. Performances run weekend evenings and Sunday matinees, with advance tickets available online or by phone for $32.
3. Officials remind public to drive sober during Labor Day celebrations (wtnh.com) — In Milford, state police are urging anyone celebrating Labor Day at Silver Sands State Park or local gatherings to plan a sober ride home and avoid driving impaired. Troopers recommend rideshares or designated drivers so everyone can enjoy the beach and still keep roads safe for neighbors and visitors.
4. Connecticut still has parkway entrance ramps with stop signs. Here's what could change (milfordmirror.com) — Drivers using the Wilbur Cross Parkway near Milford should know that Interchange 38B northbound is one of several remaining on-ramps where cars must stop before merging, a design linked to frequent rear-end crashes elsewhere.
