40 Days for Life Campaign Director to visit Prayer Vigil

Shawn Carney, 40 Days for Life Campaign Director, to Visit Bridgeport Prayer Vigil on March 15th

Shawn Carney, co-founder and campaign director of 40 Days for Life, will address Prayer Vigil volunteers in the public right of way outside the Summit abortion facility,
3787 Main Street, Bridgeport, on March 15 at 12 noon.
40 Days for Life is observed in Fairfield County during the Lenten Season, February 13 through March 24, and is part of a national movement taking place in over 260 cities. Thousands of people of faith in the greater Bridgeport area are praying, fasting and giving alms in the hope of ending abortion in this country. In addition to these individual commitments, over 50 Catholic, Evangelical, Protestant and Orthodox churches, as well as prayer, bible study and youth groups have adopted times to pray at the Vigil.
Nationwide reports document 6,749 lives that have been spared from abortion and those are just the ones we know about. At least 76 abortion workers have quit their jobs and walked away from the abortion industry, including three Planned Parenthood managers who are now active in the 40 Days for Life Movement. In addition 29 abortion facilities completely shut down following local 40 Days for Life campaigns. Many people with past abortion experiences have stepped forward to begin post-abortion healing and recovery.
