
Lucille McCullough, age 94, long time resident of Milford and beloved wife of 49 years to the late Frederick McCullough, passed away at Milford Hospital on Monday, February 14, 2011.
Born on February 6, 1917 in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Olga Hoefler Pitts. Lucille was a dedicated and industrious woman and was employed with the NY, NH, and Hartford RR and Doonan-Miles Corporation.
Lucille modeled for the Strauss-Adler Corporation, worked for the Board of Education in Milford, and prior to her retirement at 89 years old, worked for Trim Fashion in Orange. In her spare time, she was on the Board of Directors and an Officer for the Deerfield Avenue Improvement Association and was amember of the Milford Yacht Club for over 40 years.

Lucille is survived by her cherished daughter Luzanne McCullough and cousins Marion Hayes, Maribeth Hayes Dumraes and husband Paul, Jerilyn hayes, Adriane hayes Beller and husband Peter MD., Daria hayes, Connie domain and husband Al, and Danielle Shook and husband Tom.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, February 18th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 70 Gulf St., Milford, CT. Interment to follow at St. Mary Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
