Paula Smith Signs On As DeGrego Treasurer

Milford, CT (June 18, 2012) – Mike DeGrego, Republican candidate for the Connecticut State Senate from the 14th District, announced Saturday that Paula Smith of Milford has joined his campaign team as official Treasurer. At his weekly campaign team meeting today, DeGrego said “I am truly honored to have someone with Paula’s experience and knowledge agree to take on such an important function in our campaign. Paula brings years of valuable experience in local and state campaigns and a strong sense of fiscal responsibility to our fast growing campaign team.”

Paula Smith currently is serving her 2nd term on Milford’s Board of Aldermen from the 3rd district as well as being a board member of the Boys & Girls Club of Milford, the Annual Milford Oyster Festival, and the Wildemere Beach Association.  She is also aldermanic liaison to the Golf Commission, Milford Public Library and the Council on Aging.  Paula said “Mike's energy and enthusiasm for the 14th District Senate campaign is contagious. Watching Mike rally supporters, you can't help but step up and get this man elected.  We need Mike in Hartford to bring some common sense back to our state legislature."

Mike DeGrego, a political newcomer and retired Air Force Officer and Police Detective, has already been energetically campaigning across the 14th District. He will be on the ballot this November for voters in Milford, Orange, as well as parts of West Haven and Woodbridge.
