Another Affordable Housing Project Approved In Milford: Report
The approval came this week by the city.
MILFORD, CT — Another affordable housing application has been approved by the city. This time it's for 15 units at 25 Meadowside Road, according to the Milford Mirror.
Construction is expected near the end of the year and the developer is Angelo Lisi. An existing home on the site will be demolished. The property is about a half-acre.
Once again if you're not familiar with the state's affordable housing law, it basically renders a municipality powerless to vote against projects unless it can prove there is a legitimate health and safety concern, which is almost impossible to do.

A municipality can deny the project but will almost always lose on appeal in court while spending significant sums of money on legal costs.
