Another Affordable Housing Project Planned In Milford: Report
This time the project will be built on less than a third of an acre.

MILFORD, CT — A developer has received city approval to build six apartment units on less than a third of an acre at 232 West Main Street, the Milford Mirror reports.
And yes you guessed it, the application was filed under the state's affordable housing law, which allows developers to bypass local zoning laws and essentially renders a community powerless to stop the project.
The only way around the law is if 10 percent of a community's housing stock is considered affordable under current state regulations. Milford's percentage is around 6 percent.
