The Boys & Girls Club of Milford, CT 2017 Walnut Beach Ice Cream Run is this Sunday, August 6, 2017, kicking off at Walnut Beach Pavilion [113 Broadway Milford, CT, 06460] at 7:00AM (full schedule below).
The Walnut Beach Ice Cream Run is a certified USATF 5K Course and is $25 per runner (children 10 and under are free for the Kid’s race). All funds raised will support ongoing Club initiatives, including the after school and fall programs.

The race is set to attract over 500 participants. Winners will take home a coveted Ice Cream Bowl Trophy, all of the runners will receive an official race shirt, as well as a coupon for a free ice cream from the Walnut Beach Creamery.

o 7:00AM: Registration Opens
o 8:00AM: Kid’s Race (10 and under / Free / 1 mile)
o 8:30AM: 5K Race
o 9:30AM: Raffles and Awards Ceremony

o Pre-Registered Runners can pick up their bibs and t-shirts starting at 7:00AM on the day of the race
o Kid’s Race: We will begin gathering the kids around 7:45AM for a light stretch prior to the Kid’s Race start.
o 5K Race: We will begin lining runners up as soon as the Kid’s Race has completed.
