Back To School: Milford 2021-22 School Calendar

MILFORD, CT — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Milford, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in Milford.

The first day of school for students is Sept. 1. Teachers have professional development on Aug. 30 and Aug. 31.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its year-and-a-half point.

Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

Milford Public Schools

First Day: Sept. 1

Thanksgiving Break: Early dismissal for staff and students on Nov. 24; Nov. 25, 26 are full days off

Holiday break: Dec. 23 to Dec. 31. Students return to school on Jan. 3, 2022

Winter break: Feb. 18 and Feb. 21

Spring Break: Good Friday on April 15 and then April 18-22

Last Day: The last day of school is tentatively June 14. If additional days are required for emergency/snow closures, they will be added to June, but not to go beyond June 24.
