From Frost To 80-Plus Degrees: CT Weather
Connecticut folks woke up to frost in some places this morning but we'll begin to notice changes this afternoon, which will last for days.
CONNECTICUT — It's been a fall-like feel the past few days in Connecticut as Frost Advisories were issued just north of us last night and some people shared photos of frost on their cars and grass. And we all know the last official day of summer is Monday.
So this must mean summer is over? Nope. After another chilly morning, temps will begin to rise this afternoon and then it will be hot beginning on Friday and through Monday with day time high temps in the 80s.
If this is summer's last gasp, we'll gladly take it. More good news is that the weekend looks dry too.

Overnight lows will once again drop into the 40s across the interior and in the 50s across the coast. More sunshine expected on Friday and Saturday with temperatures gradually rising a few degrees more than the previous day. Highs by the weekend will be in the 80s, 5-8 degrees above normal for mid to late September."
