What is better than riding to the top of the ferris wheel and looking out over Long Island Sound for as far as the eye can see?
Oh yah, doing it to raise money for the Maren Sanchez Memorial Fund.
We attended the Carnival at Walnut Beach last night and the children had a great time making memories that will last a lifetime. Running around the parking lot where they are normally only allowed to walk holding hands to get the beach, seeing it transformed into a super amazing, fun filled childhood dream complete with rides, games, ice cream, food, blinking lights and sounds. They experienced rides that sent them giggling or frightened them just enough that they waited a full 15 minutes before getting the courage up to ride again.
Check it out, it's not every day there is a carnival at Walnut Beach, but when there is, you shouldn't miss it.
Friday 6-9, Sat 1-9 Walnut Beach Parking Lot
