Catalytic Converters Stolen From Milford Business, Woman Charged: PD

The total loss for the business was $12,500, police said. A total of three people have been charged in connection with the case.

MILFORD, CT — A Middletown woman was charged after she helped steal several catalytic converters from a Milford business's vehicles, according to police.

Several converters were stolen off company vehicles on Aug. 21; the total loss for the company was $12,500. Two others have already been charged in connection with the theft.

Yamil Burgos, 26, was taken into custody Sept. 6 and charged with second-degree larceny, first-degree criminal mischief, and conspiracy charges. She was released on a promise to appear.
