Child Taken From Room Without Permission: Milford Police
Police responded to a motel on a report of a child being taken from his mother, police said. The accused was given a $75,000 bond.
MILFORD, CT — A Bridgeport woman, Chervon Bendolph, 42, of Terry Place, is accused of taking a child from the room of a local motel without permission, Milford police said.
On Sept. 27, police responded to the Mayflower Motel, 219 Woodmont Road, on the report of a child being taken from his mother, police said.
"Investigation led to the arrest of Bendolph who is accused of going into the victim’s room and taking the child without permission before taking off in a vehicle," Milford police said in a news release.

Bendolph is charged with second-degree breach of peace, risk of injury to a minor and second-degree custodial interference.
She was released after posting $75,000 bond.
