Mall officials announced on Wednesday that they are reinstating the parental guidance program. Here's what you need to know.

Connecticut Post Mall reinstates parental guidance program
WHAT: To encourage a pleasant and safe shopping environment for all guests, Connecticut Post Mall has implemented a Parental Guidance Required Program on Saturday evenings.

Effective immediately on Saturdays, visitors ages 17 or younger must be accompanied by a parent or supervising adult age 21 or older, beginning at 4:00 pm through mall closing.
Unsupervised youth shopping prior to 4:00 pm must leave the mall by the designated time or will need to be joined by a parent or supervising adult age 21 or older.

One adult may accompany up to four (4) youths. All accompanied youths must always remain with the supervising adult while at the mall.
Proof of age may be required for the youth or supervising adult (such as a state issued driver’s license or state ID). Those who lack proper identification will be asked to leave the property.
WHEN:Saturdays - 4pm until closing
The Connecticut Post Mall is anchored by Macy’s, Boscov's, and Target, and has over 150 stores. The shopping center features a Cinemark 14+Imax Theater, plus Dave & Busters, Dick's Sporting Goods, Forever 21, H&M, LA Fitness, and Victoria's Secret.
The mall is located at 1201 Boston Post Road.
