Construction Crew Hit Gas Line In Milford

MILFORD, CT — Trumbull Avenue was shut down to traffic Friday morning after a construction crew hit a gas line while excavating, according to Milford firefighters.

No gas readings were found by firefighters, but a nearby condominium was evacuated as a precaution, according to Milford Professional Firefighters. No injuries were reported.

The gas company responded to the scene and shut down the gas line while repairs are made.
