Convicted Milford Murderer Found Guilty of Another Crime
Matthew Pugh was back in the courtroom for a shooting/robbery case that occurred in New Haven.

Update: Register reporter Randall Beach reports that the jury found Pugh guilty of assault and robbery.
Original story: Convicted murderer Matthew Pugh testified that he was working at the time of a robbery/shooting that occurred in New Haven during 2008.
Pugh was sentenced to 60 years in prison last year for the 2006 killing of his former girlfriend Alexandra Ducsay.

Pugh testified that he worked a night shift job in Stratford on the night of the robbery/shooting that occurred in New Haven, according to the New Haven Register. The victim was a Yale graduate student.

Workers at Connecticut Distributors searched for time card records from 2008 to see if Pugh was telling the truth, but couldn't come across any. A manager said he had no recollection who worked the night of the robbery.
