Coyote Sightings Increasing in Milford

State and local officials say coyotes are prevalent in numerous communities and a human attack is very rare.

Several Milford residents have observed coyotes in all different sections of the city but state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection and Milford Animal Control officials say that is not uncommon, reports Milford Mirror Editor Jill Dion.

According to Dion, coyotes have been seen recently on Noble Avenue, Seaside Avenue and Ford Street.

Officials say a risk of a coyote attacking a human is very low, but pets should be kept indoors, and never feed a coyote, according to the article.
