CT Rep. for Milford Re-elected to Lead Women's Caucus
CT Reps. Kim Rose and Rosa C. Rebimbas announce that they have been re-elected to lead the legislature's bi-partisan Womens' Caucus.
From the Connecticut General Assembly: State Representatives Kim Rose (D-Milford) and Rosa C. Rebimbas (R-Naugatuck) are pleased to announce they have been re-elected by their colleagues to lead the legislature’s bi-partisan Womens’ Caucus for the next two years.
The group comes together in support of bipartisan ideas that address women-related issues during Legislative Sessions at the General Assembly. Legislative priorities for the 2017 session will be released at a later date.
Rep. Rose said, “I am honored to have been chosen by my colleagues in both the House and the Senate to help lead this important caucus. I am looking forward to once again working with my colleague, Rep. Rebimbas to move our agenda forward in the same bi-partisan manner that we have in the past.”

Rep. Rebimbas said, “I am pleased to know that Rep. Rose and I will be working closely together once again and will continue in leadership roles within our caucuses that help further initiatives that are important to women across Connecticut. I am confident the womens’ caucus will work together to continue to strengthen and expand existing law, and promote new legislation to protect rights related to women.”
