Here's How Much More Snow To Expect In CT Saturday
The National Weather Service said nearly two feet of snow fell in eastern parts of CT on Saturday, while western areas received less snow.
CONNECTICUT — Nearly two feet of snow fell in eastern parts of Connecticut as a powerful nor'easter produced blizzard conditions and strong wind gusts to the state Saturday.
As of 7 p.m. most of the accumulating snow is over and all warnings have been cancelled except in Hartford, Tolland and Windham counties, which continues until midnight.
The National Weather Service said to expect brutally cold wind chill readings Sunday morning. It may feel like 10 below zero on Sunday.

Despite blizzard-like conditions in some areas of Connecticut, and over 500 calls for service, the State Police are reporting no serious injuries. There have been no reports of coastal flooding, and no municipality had requested any state assistance, according to officials at the Office of Emergency Management.
"This is not our first rodeo, we're the Gateway to New England," Gov. Ned Lamont said during a news conference Saturday afternoon.

All airports and rail service had been suspended since the Friday night, and tractor trailers have been banned from the roads which began at 3 a.m. Saturday. Two truckers have so far been cited for violating the ban. Trucks with medical supplies continue to get a pass. The tractor trailer travel ban will be lifted at 11:59 Saturday, state officials said.
The snow was falling at 3 inches an hour in some of the eastern most areas of the state, and that's faster than the plows can get to it, according to Lamont.
